Mo Egeston Music Update- Coco & Mo the Lounge Sessions @ Element

Greetings,

Coming Soon in Mo Egeston Music land:

This week Coco & Mo will continue their one month residency at the new Lafayette Square restaurant and lounge Element.  Coco & Mo features vocals by CocoSoul with Mo Egeston on keys and beats.  The set will include lounge style house, soul, disco and nu jazz.  The 3rd Floor lounge is easily one of the nicest lounges in the city.  A great spot to chill and enjoy some deep grooves.

Speaking of CocoSoul, I'm very excited to share the news that Coco won the St. Louis portion of the Hard Rock Cafe Battle of the Bands "Hard Rock Rising".   This competition features her performing her original music with an all-star band that includes one of my favorite drummers Jason "Dirty Lynt" Moore, Ramon White on bass, Wade Long on keys and Ife Jacobs on backing vocals.

Working musicians don't have the opportunity to focus on original music as much as we'd like so this is definitely great recognition of Coco's talent and creativity.  Stay tuned for information on the online voting stage which is coming soon.

On April 19 Mo E All-Stars featuring CocoSoul return to the stage to tribute the one and only Prince!  The lineup features some of St. Louis' finest including Steve Ewing (of the Urge), Donald Williams's band Superhero Killer, Theresa Payne (a recent competitor on the Voice), Ransom Note and the All-Stars featuring CocoSoul.  It all goes down at the Gramophone at 9 PM.  All-Stars take the stage at 10P sharp so don't be late!

#ROCKCULTURE: A Tribute to Prince with Mo E All-Stars featuring CocoSoul, Ransom Note,  Steve Ewing Band, Superhero Killer and Theresa Payne.
